I believe that design and making should be one. Nowadays, the design industry is oversaturated with over-the-top designs that may be beautiful in theory, but come with little feasibility. I work to push the limits of materials to see how far we can take a design but never lose grasp of what can be made with the tools in my belt.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

My design career has been somewhat of a non-traditional one. I started off as an Interior Designer after school, but quickly shifted gears and joined a large-scale architectural team. After spending some time in architecture, I realized that the large-scale projects just weren’t for me. Over the past few years, I have been transitioning out of architecture and honing in on Industrial Design - where I can always be sweating the small stuff. I’ve held positions working exclusively in new product development and have managed 100+ custom projects, ranging from small residential goods, large complex installations, and developed multiple new products that were brought to market.

3D MODELING + Design for manufacturing

With seven years of experience in 3d modeling, I can say with confidence that I have a few tricks up my sleeve. At the beginning of my design process, all of the first moves are analog, via sketching, hand rendering, and rapid prototyping. Once an idea has been roughed out, a quick transition is made into developing the product on the computer to test the legitimacy of every last detail.
